Fiberon™ is polymakers family of fiber-reinforced composite filaments developed to provide outstanding mechanical performance for a range of engineering applications.
Fiberon™ ASA-CF08 combines the UV and weather resistance of ASA with 8% carbon fiber by weight, delivering high rigidity, dimensional stability, and a professional matte finish. In combination with high-speed printing up to 350 mm/s and heat resistance up to 103 °C (HDT 0.45 MPa), ASA-CF08 delivers a reliable choice for functional prototypes, outdoor components, and end-use parts in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

Features
-
Outstanding weather & UV resistance - With excellent weather resistance (UV, water and heat) Fiberon™ ASA-CF08 is the ideal choice for printing high rigidity components that must survive in the harsh outdoors. Most plastics tend to become brittle and their colour turns yellow when exposed to UV radiation or sunshine but with Fiberon™ ASA-CF08 the appearance and mechanical properties of your 3D prints are not influenced negatively by UV light.
-
Outstanding Stiffness & Dimensional Stability - Polymakers 8% carbon fiber reinforcement significantly improves stiffness, tensile modulus and dimensional stability - perfect for engineers and hobbyists who require accurate and mechanically demanding end-use parts. Comparing within Polymakers own range, Fiberon ASA-CF08 displays 50% higher stiffness (3.8 GPa) than the unreinforced PolyLite ASA (2.3 GPa). This composite reinforcement also results in a high quality ASA filament that is less prone to warping, displays excellent overhang quality and requires minimal chamber heating.
-
High Heat Resistance - Fiberon™ ASA-CF08 displays heat resistance up to 103 °C (HDT 0.45 MPa), making it perfect for enclosures, fixtures, and components exposed to direct sunlight or extreme heat without deformation.
-
High Speed Capable - Fiberon™ ASA-CF08 has been developed with printer compatibility in mind and is high speed capable, enabling printing up to 350mm/s on suitable high speed printers.
-
Excellent Surface Finish & Colourful Options - The 8% carbon fiber reinforcement delivers a high quality matte finish that hides layer lines. In combination with 6 unique colour options, ASA-CF08 is also great for applications where aesthetics matter as much as function.
Technical Data
All ASA-CF specimens were printed with 270°C nozzle temperature, 90°C bed temperature, cooling fan OFF and were printed with 100% infil, 2 shells and 3 top & bottom layers.
